    I worked at New Flyer full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Welders and Paint make good money but Assembly Techs get much less

    Cons

    To much mandated OT. They never ask for volunteers first.

    Advice to Management

    Profit Sharing ,Respect for our Time outside of work.

    Go in early and get off early.

    Cons

    Pay is just ok not great.

    - Great work atmosphere
    - Company fosters training and developing employees
    - Day-to-day work varies enough to keep you challenged and interested

    Cons

    - Take more risks when it comes to designs. Often designs were replicated with the only reason being that that was how it was done before.

    Advice to Management

    - Give employees more flexibility when it comes to own day-to-day management
    - Constantly strive to find better more, efficient designs, and better ways to do things

    CEO is great
    Lots of overtime if you want it.
    Travel to the USA sometimes

    Cons

    Working overtime every weekend
    Union workers
    Too much workload in an 8 hour day

    Advice to Management

    Listen to yor supervisor and spend a day in there shoes
