    I worked at New French Bakery full-time

    Pros

    Many of the employees who have worked at the company for a while are very nice and knowledgeable.

    Cons

    Has a hard time keeping employees making the jobs for other very difficult. There is little communication between departments making things disorganized at times.

    Advice to Management

    Treat employees like people, not as someone who puts bread in a box.

    I worked at New French Bakery full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free bread, the hard working production workers.

    Cons

    Horrible benefits, Sr. Management that cannot function and collaborate together. Management holds no accountability for their errors and the blame game is a vicious cycle. The entire culture cut throat "what can i do to get ahead." It's so apparent at all levels of the company.

    Advice to Management

    If you have to sign a piece of paper, laminate and post it to prove your leadership team can make decisions and basically "get along" it shows the employees your not a strong team and it's a joke.

    Pros

    The bread is not that bad.

    Cons

    No communication what so ever! No teamwork. No leadership skills from leaders and supervisor Employees mistreated, overworked, discrimination against race culture. Low pay, very little benefits! It's ran out of cultural dosent feel like a bakery anymore.

    Advice to Management

    Contract a new team of leaders ans supervisor. Treat the employees right. Offer more money to the ones whom been there the most. A happy employees will work 3 times harder and it benefits eveyone.

    Pros

    Good pay for an entry level position, consistent hours and a growing company. Good opportunities for advancement if you do your work and take initiative. Full time hours in 3.5 days means 3.5 days off every week.

    Cons

    long shifts on your feet can be tough for some, and it's a pretty fast pace so you need to be rested and energized.

    Pros

    Very competitive pay and benefits.
    Sense of pride working for a company that produces a great product and is well respected in the industry.
    Solid support from management, employees are recognized for a job well done.
    Opportunity to grow with the company - they like to promote from within.

    Cons

    Company is experiencing 'growing pains' and all that entails. Company needs to make sure core values and culture are communicated and demonstrated in a positive way.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to support teamwork, let people know they are valued and communicate growth plans to all levels of the organization.

    None this place sucks really

    Tons everything here is not good

    Advice to Management

    Since the company has been sold it seems like they are spending money on a lot of new equipment and not on additional staff. They seem to think that the more supervisors they hire the better it will run, but this is not the case. They stress teamwork here but every dept works for their benefit. The QA Department is a complete joke here. The supervisor in this department does absolutely nothing and till the state sqf audit comes along. They don't care about quality of employee family life here because they schedule everyone for every weekend. The company stresses quality but they only care about quantity. The employees moral here is the lowest that i have ever worked with.

    I have been working at New French Bakery full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I would say the free bread, but the bread is not safe to eat as it gets dropped on the floor and then packed due to management request to not waste that bread.
    There was one HR person at my building who seemed to really want to make a difference and change things, but after a few months seemed to be bullied in to acting like the rest and instead quit.

    Cons

    Terrible management
    Owner is a lunatic - comes in and screams obscenities at employees (and throws things)
    Terrible schedules - working 6 days a week or more and when i needed to miss one of those "extra" days I received an attendance point. When I was interviewed I was told my schedule would be 5 days a week.
    Plant manager doesnt let injured employees go to the doctor
    Some employees seem to show up whenever they want - employees who have been there for many years, but do not receive attendance points which seems pretty terrible when the fire people for attendance points - seems like a legal issue.
