    Working for your institution while you study is convenient for obvious reasons.

    Cons

    If direct deposit is not configured, there is only a small window of time during the "common hour" on Friday during which you can pick up your check before it is mailed to your mailing address.

    Mandate management training for all employees who supervise multiple people. Consider a 360-like approach to ask employees about each other.

    Pros

    NJIT is a great public university to work for and attend. The campus is going through a revitalization and a rejuvenation, from adding new degree programs to building infrastructure to increasing the number of accepted students.

    Cons

    Classrooms need to be updated and expanded. Some students have to borrow chairs from other classes and some have to stand as they are overcrowded.
