I worked at New Oriental full-time

    Pros

Good culture, positive, passionate. You can find your value and sense of achievement there. Colleagues are interesting and well-educated.

    Cons

Too much work load, sometimes at the expense of your health. Weekends are not fixed, which made you unable to have good time with family or friends.

    Advice to Management

More balanced work to employees by giving them fixed rest days. Try to take more care of employees of their physical condition.

I worked at New Oriental full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fair and rapid hiring process: I was already in China and from previous job researches I had a job offer from another school. They allowed me to accelerate the process in order to get a job offer soon, that I accepted.
    Salary: quite high
Bonuses: very high and fair; they can be the main reason to work for them.
Trainers: the other good reason to work for them; very kind, clear, professional and efficient, they helped me a lot.
Working hours: perfect for me, you can sometimes kindly ask to work more hours or less according to your needs, and they will try to help you. If you show you are flexible and helpful, you will have a great time. Of course during the summer you are requested to work much more because it is a training school, but the salary will increase accordingly.
Chinese assistants are always with you in the class.

    Cons

They took longer than I expected to provide the working visa.
Chinese assistants are generally nice but often they work too long, better if you learn how to work autonomously.

    Advice to Management

Keep a focus on professionalism on every level.

I worked at New Oriental full-time

    Pros

Talking bout the maxen branch. Easy working pace. Nice teachers. Decent pay. Some of the newer branches have very nice campus and classroom. The comes and goes could be a con but can also be a pro cuz if you work long enough or hard enough, it's easy to get promoted. And the foreign teachers got very good pay compare with the local teachers.

    Cons

The differentiate of classes is kinda blur. students sometimes got pushed into a class that doesn't really suit themselves. Makes the teaching a little harder sometimes. being a foreign teacher could get very busy sometimes.

    Advice to Management

pay attention on what staffs and teachers can do but not only on how long they stayed in this school. hr should do their job as an hr but not someone could stick their noses around on other ppls businesses.
