    Pros

    The other employees are enjoyable to work with. Also, the managers and supervisors are always helpful and kind.

    Cons

    Like anywhere else, dealing with members can be annoying but that should be expected in any field.

    Pros

    Good resume builder due to name recognition from their athletes. People on the outside think this is a great place.

    Cons

    Waking up every morning to go to a job knowing no matter what you do there, it won't matter, you're not appreciated for the hours you put in, and nothing will change except the amount of years you have left on this earth.

    Work/Life Balance. Co Workers are good. Lot of Long term team members. Interaction with membership. Two Locations

    Cons

    Old physical plant- many projects going on to update building.. Antiquated systems & processes. Did not always have tools available needed for position.

    I worked at New York Athletic Club full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    All customers in the country club are so polite, patient and well behaved.
    The stuff is very friendly and helpful.
    Can chose how many hours you want to work as a pro, there is no regular hours, so basically you chose your own schedule. Of course, the more hours you work, the more $ you get.
    There are a lot of hours to work if you are willing to make money during the summer as a tennis pro.

    Cons

    High level customers sometimes cancel the lessons and you don't get paid for it.
    More freedom of decision making and running the practice could be given

    Advice to Management

    Trust their pros on what they are doing and give more freedom in organizing the clinics.

    Pros

    Well structured daily and weekly scheduling - managers are flexible and work with you.

    Cons

    Promotions and wage increases are rare and minor at that. I have been at the company for several years and my wages never increased even after graduating college.

    Advice to Management

    Offer long term employees more benefits and annual wage adjustments.

    it's cool working there, nobody bothers you, as long as you do your job, and be professional it it's cool.

    Cons

    Its a challenging when you have thirteen tables, and working by yourself.

    You guys have a great working staff.
