    Pros

I Joined the New York College of Health Professions as Junior Massage Therapist Faculty. My tenure at New York College of Health Professions was excellent. Management and senior faculties were very friendly and helpful. They insist you learn new things and always ready to help you with your problems and queries. This was the most memorable time of my career.

I worked at New York College of Health Professions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nothing -- except you will be disrespected everyday like a dog in a chaos and prison like working environment ...

    Cons

The high turnover rate explains everything ... bad management , non-structural, the president controls everything ... high discrimination against Chinese staff and students ... (but ironically they sell Chinese medicine course!) -- all the positive comments you read you can notice it's from same person -- 'no notable cons' -- it's same tone! - don't fool the world anymore ! -- Justice will be seen one day !

    Advice to Management

Management doesn't listen to advise though many people advised the management and the president for years so it's meaningless.

I worked at New York College of Health Professions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Room for creative thinking and ideas. Great mission and subject matter. Opportunity to sharpen your administrative skills. Nice people to work with.

    Cons

A little bit of administrative disorganization. Can get a bit stressful at certain times of the year. Should have a strong personality and be able to keep calm and think clearly in the face of challenges.

    Advice to Management

Be in tune with the training needs of all departments and ensure that individuals are secure in their responsibilities before hire. Tends to be a disconnect between upstairs and downstairs offices, important to bridge the gap and work together in a positive way.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Students really want to learn. The only problem is that the students don't know what they don't know. There is no positive thing to say about the school.

    Cons

Upper administration have no idea what it takes to be a school. The president of the school has a mental disturbance and fires anyone that goes against her thoughts at the time. Everyone that works there is in fear of losing their jobs because they don't know what direction or vision the president, CFO or COO has for the school. Very sad.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the Faculty. They know what the school needs.
