I worked at New York Jets part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get to be exposed to a professional league environment whether it's game day or training camp.

Might even get within a few feet of the players but you cannot initiate conversation with them.

    Cons

Hours are wildly inconsistent so make sure you have another job on the side.

Long hours for game days but that's the nature of the industry.

Pay is unsurprisingly low because there are 30+ staff to compensate for.

    Advice to Management

Feed your staff for summer training camps during down time, not at the end of the day if there's still leftover food from the cafeteria.

I worked at New York Jets full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I felt extremely lucky to go to work every day.
The company ensured that their employees felt valued and empowered every day.
We were provided breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily. The food was phenomenal. We were frequently given tickets to games for our families. We were given beautiful staff parties and events.
Management was demanding, fun, and supportive. We all felt motivated to do our best. And we did.

    Cons

    Long hours and no benefits.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. I will always remember my time at the Jets with great fondness.

    Pros

Fast paced, new experiences, a lot of people to interact with. You also can learn a lot about football, if you didn't know already.

    Cons

Some games can feel long because of heat/cold. A lot of the times you have to get to MetLife really early.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the momentum! This intern program is one of the best around. Learned more than I expected to.
