    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at New York Life full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    None to report. Absolutely none.

    Cons

The multi-step, field sales interview process beats you into submission - contrived, impersonal, banal and uninspired. Win the opportunity to ruthlessly hawk life insurance to your "natural market" on 100% commission like a newly minted Amway distributor with a trunk full of bad toilet paper. Once your natural market shrinks, best of luck Chuck! Right about that time, the fees for your cubicle and phone kick in... (not a joke) - yes, you are subsidizing the overhead of one of the largest, billion dollar companies in the United States. No support, no mentors, no soul. Stay far away from this scam of a company and career. THE COMPANY YOU KEEP? What a LEAP!
