I have been working at New York Sports Club part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible and freedom to teach your style of yoga. The students are often very dedicated and willing to learn. 55 minute classes are great. Class pass system at some clubs are very difficult to enforce especially in larger classes with 40+ students and front desk staff runs out with the class passes.

    Cons

Front desk staff organizational skills varies from club to club, cleanliness in the studios could at some places be better. Wish they had more yoga blocks at some clubs to support the students

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have enough class passes to help teachers to enforce clubs systems. Make sure to swifter and vacuum the studios everyday! Especially after lots of classes.

    Pros

Good company, I havs a great manager and he wants his team to succeed so as long as you have a caring manager you will enjoy being a trainer here. Pay is fair and works in percentages based on how many sessions you train per pay period.

    Cons

Wish that the membership rates were equal so members wouldn't get upset
