I worked at New York Times (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Brilliant people committed to doing the right thing.

    Cons

Massively changing media landscape makes it harder and harder to do the journalism (thorough, thoughtful, project) for which Times is revered.

    Advice to Management

Particularly for the masthead editors, filter around the desks more and talk shop. It means a lot. Every editor says they will (Bill, Jill, Dean) and they never do.
