Pros
You have a chance to make decent money, but probably wouldn't.
Cons
Well, for starters, you mine as well say goodbye to your personal life because you wouldn’t have one. They’ll have you working at least 50 hours a week, plus 2-3 Saturdays a month. The work environment is extremely unprofessional and toxic. It’s heavily male dominated, so if you are a relatively attractive woman, just know you’ll be in an office full of men who don’t get out enough, and if you think they’re only looking at you as a coworker, you’re wrong. I had many inappropriate comments made towards me and was placed in a few uncomfortable situations outside of the office, even by a couple of superiors. Everyone is brain washed into thinking they were hand picked and are privileged to work there, when in reality they will hire anyone with a pulse because they need a new body to fill the empty seats of those who leave. So don’t get close to the person beside you, it’s only a matter of time before they figure out what kind of circus they joined and leave.

Pros
Great work environment if you have a hungry attitude and are willing to put in the work. From my personal experience, I have been in both sales and processing and both I have had great experiences. The company promotes from within, which I first handedly have experienced as I started out as an AE, then a credit analyst, processor, team lead, captain, and now AVP. Great management, impressive bonuses and commission, and an incredible work environment. 9-6 schedule is implemented and followed for the most part, unless it is a busy day you may need to stay a bit later. Work hard play harder is exactly what this place is about.
Cons
Longer hours and hard work are the upmost important to do well and make a name of yourself. You will be busy, there will be some late nights, but overall there are not many cons. Everyone is willing to work with you and help you if you are willing to learn and work hard.

Pros
Actives for employees - legit used to lure people in and make it seem like the work environment is fun.
Cons
They hire to many people than they can handle. When mortgage rates go up , they will go crazy and find creative ways to fire you or let you go. Only a few people can be at the top at once. Very unorganized when it comes to training. Will have training after your suppose to be off. They do not care about you. Just don't do it.

Pros
- Great training - Limitless upward mobility (hard work is rewarded!) - Fun and engaging work environment - Special events like Ravens tickets, Axe throwing, and parties - Fun competitions between teams - Opportunity to learn the business from multiple departments - The people make it great, Ive made some really close life long friends and colleagues here - Good money right out of college
Cons
Fast pace environment isnt for everyone Growing rapidly so the company is constantly changing Located in Fulton so the commute can be cumbersome with traffic

Pros
Outstanding training and leadership. A fast paced work environment where one can be promoted based on merit and hard work. Multiple career path options. A great opportunity for someone right out of university looking for a company to invest in their training and development. It's also an environment with a palatable amount of energy and excitement. This company is making a difference in the lives of those we serve, the Veteran community, and everyone is united and working towards this purpose.
Cons
To some this role may be perceived as intense. The hours can be long but the day goes by quick as you will be challenged and responding to the needs of the company. You are also surrounded by very intelligent and hard working peers and leaders and the personal and professional growth you will receive is unmatched.

Pros
Great starting salary! Very energetic and positive work environment. Lots of hands on training, they really care about the success of their employees.
Cons
The hours are pretty tough but usually the employees are young and hungry. The more you put in the more you get out for sure.

Pros
NewDay is a competitive workplace that hires mostly energetic recent college graduates. I've made some great friends out of my coworkers and enjoy the department that I am in (Processing). I am surrounded by ambitious, competitive, and like-minded workers who both help one another but also push each other to be the best. I really enjoy my job here at New Day and have learned a lot in processing, the overall mortgage industry, and made many friends along the way. The hours in processing are very reasonable and the processing department/team is pretty close knit and everybody is at the very least cordial with one another. I also like with NewDay that there is lots of opportunity to grow and move around. A neat aspect of talking to many employees here is that everybody has had a different path of upward mobility because the company is very flexible in regards with moving people around. I can also say for my department that turnover is very low and everyone seems to be very content with their job here while still very determined to work hard and reach leadership positions. I was skeptical of NewDay prior to starting work here because of the reviews here on Glassdoor. I can say as a recent graduate from a pretty reputable college, 22 year old male in the processing department that I have 0 regrets about taking the job offer here at NewDay. The friends I've made, the excellent SAFE training in the beginning of the job, the great team environment of the processing department, the plentiful opportunity to move up and around the company, the overall building and location in the Maple Lawn commercial park, and the spontaneous incentives that the company provides such as occasional lunches, work parties, and other random activities are great. I certainly plan on sticking around here for at least a couple of years.
Cons
If you are not a competitive person and do not like competitive work environments then this is not the best place for you.

Pros
Fun and competitive work environment. Lot of room for growth and promotions, I was promoted within my first 6 months. Opportunity to be financially successful right out of college.
Cons
The time put into the job is worth the effort.
