I have been working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The best place I've ever worked! Caring people. Mission driven. Staff take their jobs seriously. The dedication people have to patient care is above and beyond. Very helpful Talent Acquisition team.

    Cons

Takes a while to steer things in a different direction, but at least the hospital is open to new ideas.

    Advice to Management

Continue to speak about the Credo. Continue to be visible. Our leaders need to be approachable and they are.

    Pros

Great benefits including paid maternity leave. Very innovative, always looking for ways to improve the workplace and patient experience. Supportive in terms of career advancement.

Can be hard to transition from a night shift position to days because of a lot of more senior employees. Senior management will often prioritize patient satisfaction to the detriment of staff
