I worked at Newell Rubbermaid full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great employee perks: gym, daycare, flexible schedule, cafe and coffee shop

    Cons

Culture and values changed completely with new CEO. It went from a place people loved to come to work at to just a job with some cool perks.

I worked at Newell Rubbermaid full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

At the time it was a great environment to work in. Lots of young motovated employees that worked hard and played hard.

    Cons

Ecommerce roles were few and far between and were not a focus. Sales leadership changed frequently, not allowing ideal customer relationships to be built.

    Advice to Management

Put a larger focus on ecommerce. Break away from a band promotional system that kept strong performers and weak ones closer in pay.

    Pros

Good growth opportunity; fair pay and good local management. Diversified business units and global presence creates more possibility to learn across the board

    Cons

Lack of stability; too many changes all at once; most decisions are made at headquarter without input from local teams

    Advice to Management

Try to hear local employee feedback more often

Nice people, casual environment, opportunity to work in a lot of different industries, actually good work/life balance, it's a really exciting time to work there since there's lots of new brands and locations
