I have been working at Newfield Exploration full-time

    Pros

Great environment for self starters. Young workforce but skilled co-workers. Entrepreneurial attitude and spirit. Need to wear multiple hats and be self driven.

    Cons

If you need constant direction to motivate yourself or don’t know how to look for answers to problems it could be a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Continue to give responsibility early. Resist the big company mentality. It is cropping up in the some CYA policies like deleting emails after 60 days.

I worked at Newfield Exploration full-time

    Pros

Empowerment if under the right leadership. Pay/Salary/Bonuses (since the changes in 2012) were based on contribution instead of gender or who you knew

    Cons

Senior Leadership seems to live in another world. Often they seem disjointed, with unrealistic requests, and can be condescending. CEO loves his own monologues... which might be an hour straight of him talking about himself. He is talented, but lacks on the people skills
