I have been working at News Corp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people, good hours, great work/life balance. Nice building, good location in the city...very happy at this company.

    Cons

With such a large company, it can take quite a bit of time to learn the ropes; processes also take a bit longer than they might at a smaller company

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, and maintain the generous work-life balance you afford your employees. You might be able to streamline some of your protocol a bit more.

    Pros

They just get it - from strategy to culture. Of course there are variations from division to division, but in general, I've never seen people who weren't doing a good job advance -- not for long, at least.

    Cons

As all companies as they grow, it's getting more political with time.

    Advice to Management

Stop buying newspapers. Fix Star TV.
