    Pros

    - Work is varied
    - You will gain a wide range of experience in various applications such as Methode, Salesforce along with technical systems such as PABX and networks

    Cons

No career growth. All technical teams are based in NSW and as nobody leaves and teams are not expanding, the role is a job at News Corp, not a career. You'll need to find another employer if you wish to move up

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at News Corp as an intern

    Pros

    - The colleagues are nice
    - The offices are modern, and there is a pretty good subsidized lunch place
    - They pay interns well

    Cons

    - If you are conservative and this place corresponds with your political beliefs, then by all means, go for it. However, I found it very difficult to continue working there, as the journalistic priorities were not in line with my beliefs.

    Pros

An exciting opportunity. Newscorp has a wealth of content and great variety of brands with which to leverage that content online. Newscorp has the vision to be a major Internet leader down the road.

    Cons

The brands did not always cooperate as effectively as they could have. There was good understanding of the roles of all the brands but working between them can require some senior management involvement.

    Advice to Management

Streamline inter-company communication and support initiatives across the holding company. Continue to invest in new technology and don't be afraid to sacrifice old revenue models.
