I have been working at NextCare part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Can work 3 12 hour shifts a week

    Cons

12 hour shifts are a long day but completely doable

I worked at NextCare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Co-workers were amazing group of people. Loved all of the providers!

    Cons

The company itself was always trying to find a way to cut cost, mostly at the disadvantage of its employees. Long hours, low pay, overworked, high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they are worth and your turnover rate won't be as high.

I have been working at NextCare full-time

    Pros

Each branch has a different environment. You can pick up shifts which is nice if overtime is approved.

    Cons

Seems like all they care about is money, but that's a given with corporations. Not enough compensation for the duties expected to be completed. They use your PTO for holiday pay.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to learn almost all aspects of the clinic. It makes it difficult when the manager is asking staff to do stuff the manager should be doing.

    Pros

Coworkers were nice to work with.

    Cons

This company doesn't care about anything but making money. They hire unskilled managers that end up being trained by their subordinates. You have to use your PTO for holidays. Turnover rate is high because they care nothing about their employees.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers who are skilled and experienced in the position. Put forth effort in supporting and appreciating your employees and not just the bare minimum. It doesn't anything to tell someone they are doing a good job. A company is nothing wit out great employees.

I have been working at NextCare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love working at my home location and the fact that I can pick up hours at another location to get my full hours is amazing. Traveling to other locations might get you overtime and sometimes they will be ok with that. They will cover your mileage at times, and even your hotel. I can ask for PTO on days that I need off and not lose hours. I can take vacation, something that not all companies will offer. The people I work with at my clinic are all amazing. The other clinics that I have covered shifts at are also amazing people who are all nice and very helpful. The company has benefits that I appreciate, because although I was only able to afford the high deductible insurance I am at peace knowing that if in an emergency I have that insurance. For all the small things I can see a provider at NextCare under the employee discount rate. I can afford life insurance so I don't have to worry about that either.

    Cons

Although I love working for NextCare, the pay is not that great, it not bad but could be better.

I have been working at NextCare full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I started working with NextCare about 8 years ago as a x-ray tech. Since then, I became a team lead, a clinic manager, dual clinic manager, and today I'm an Area Operations Manager. I'm very proud to say I work at NextCare because of their commitment to my professional growth and their commitment to all of our patients and employees.

    Cons

Every company has its obstacles and challenges. The room of opportunity I see for NextCare is for the company to improve their overall communication.

    Advice to Management

“Hire people who are better than you are, then leave them to get on with it. Look for people who will aim for the remarkable, who will not settle for the routine.” – David Ogilvy

I have been working at NextCare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, Benefits package after 90 days, PTO accrued from day 1. Awesome coworkers that are more like family, everyone is very professional.

    Cons

Training and Resources should be the same throughout the entire company, and should not vary from clinic to clinic.

    Advice to Management

Acknowledgement goes a long way and only take a few seconds.
