    Pros

    Seriously cannot think of any.

    Cons

The company is run by a sociopath CEO who actually believe his on B.S. with a Napoleonic complex to boot. He inserts himself into every ludicrous situation beneath a C-level executives and constantly lies to customers and employees

    Advice to Management

Leave. The company is going nowhere fast 95% thanks to the lunatic CEO.

I worked at Nextlabs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nothing to mention as a pro

    Cons

Avoid joining Singapore team. They recruit freshers only for 3 million funding from government. Downsized few employees recently. No reason given. No severance package paid.

    Advice to Management

Do not recruit and spoil someone's life. Especially Singapore operations.

I have been working at Nextlabs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    no pros at all

    Cons

Management is simply crazy. They wanted to become a 100 million dollar company by hiring many people. This is the only place that could generate revenue by hiring people. And after sometime, they realize that it is better to be 10 million dollar company because hiring more does not make them 100 million dollar company. So they started doing downsizing without declaring it is a downsize as per government regulations.

    Advice to Management

Try to understand how much revenue that the company is earning before hiring people. Don't just blindly hire people in order to fire them

I have been working at Nextlabs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

NextLabs Singapore office offers a fairly laid back environment. They have a ping pong table and a wide variety of mediocre snacks and instant coffee. Work hours are somewhat flexible.

    Cons

While the culture is laid back, you won't learn anything in the job which will help you career wise. Managers are territorial and tend to micro manage everyone. Compensation is below market rate, and promotions are rare and meaningless. Periodically there are waves of turnover where many employees will resign in waves of 5-10 people.

Warning: The 5 star reviews on this site were posted by HR and should be disregarded.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in your technical staff. Paying 50% more for a better engineer will ultimately lead to a better product, higher revenue, and the ability to hire more better engineers.

    Pros

You get to play a hand in everything. Great work/life balance. Nice colleagues.

    Cons

Some people might think there are not a lot of employee benefits but it is remarkable for a start up company.
