I worked at Nexus Practice IT Services (Less than a year)

    Pros

most of the employees are friendly

    Cons

I was hired in at a decent salary (less than I deserved) and then later realized that they were paying me less than what was agreed upon. I looked at the fine print and saw that they had changed the agreed salary. I did not notice this because they would not let me read the offer letter. They put it down and told me to hurry and sign it so they can get the ball rolling. They had also told me that I would receive a big raise if I made it past the 3 month probationary period. After 6 months I asked for that raise and they said that they would have to see once I hit the 1 year mark. What happened to the 3 months? I worked so many hours for free for them and never got any sort of recognition, rarely even a thank you. During the interview process they had put on a good show and made the company seem like it is all about its employees but it truly isn't. I eventually left the firm and soon realized that they did not match any of my funds that I had put in my 401k, like they were supposed to. I do not recommend working for this company.

    Pros

Good office environment, very nice co-workers.

    Cons

No promises that are made to you are ever what they seem to be. Do not trust things until they actually are proven to you.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the needs of your employees more often.
