    Not reacting in time to the technological changes and development globally and taking quick investment decisions

    Nigerian government should give more powers to the internal management and free the corporation from frequent government bureaucracy.

    The Government interference with the operational environment tends to mitigate against the objective of profit maximization.

    Keep abreast of technological developments in the sector so as to know their impact on production capability of aging equipment and order fro replacements when due.

    Its a good place took work as a stepping stone in Oil and gas industry.Friendly atmosphere, good job security,salary is not a par with the oil and gas industry.

    Cons

    difficult to move from one subsidiary to another. People lobby for almost everything being a government parastatal.Underfunding is a major challenge

    Government should reduce its stake so the company can run effectively.
