    Pros

I worked in the technical group, they were bunch of smart people that knew how to have fun and also how to work hard and get things done. The Mgmt was very humble and down to earth.

    Cons

Technical top management were too much into the details and not enough concentration at the strategic level.

    Advice to Management

Even with the HPE take over , try to preserve the culture.

I worked at Nimble Storage full-time

    Pros

Nimble's hiring motto for ages was "no jerks" and they meant it, and that made it a truly good place to work. The technical work was interesting (with caveats) and they tried really hard to make it a good place to be.

    Cons

Making decisions took a really long time, and the engineering organization could sometimes get caught into a rut that they found hard to get out of -- there were numerous projects which should have started sooner or been canned/simplified sooner.

    Advice to Management

Don't be timid. Set your goals and drive to them.
