    Pros

Honestly, I don't think I have any pros. If you want a job in retail there are so many better options than this company.

    Cons

The company itself seems very corrupt and a lot of fishy things went on. Before our store shut down, we were lied to several times about what was actually happening. When filing complaints, nothing got resolved or addressed. There were not enough hours to give to the employees who actually wanted to work, and the poor was poor to average.

    Pros

Offered current and fashion forward products at a reasonable price. Good leaders to learn from.

    Cons

Struggled to balance the changes to shopper idioms and web vs. brick & mortar locations and how to create synergies between the two.

    Advice to Management

Balance is key in today's marketplace.

    Pros

Hmm... not much. You get a discount on their uncomfortable shoes? That they require you wear while working. (not cool)

    Cons

Very strict, not understanding, not much time off, ridiculous expectations, rude customers, rude corporate employees. Just avoid Ninewest.

    Advice to Management

    Get better at life~

    Pros

Left with a lot of references, easy to be promoted if you put in the work, great store training program in place of time is allotted to do so

    Cons

No investigation on internal issues; had a store manager that was stealing payroll and DSM never investigated and claimed managers were lying.

    Advice to Management

Take reports to HR seriously. There are a ton of great people leaving because of terrible in store managers.

    Pros

Only the discount is worth it.

    Cons

They hired people to run stores but only if it’s how the DM wants it. They are not open to newness. They throw away new employees if old employees lose their stores to closings.

    Advice to Management

Never take a management position for this company. You are easily disposable.
