    Pros

Ninth Decimal is an incredible company that really educates its employees. You can learn sooo much here and the talent is top notch.

    Cons

I would say that the systems could be more efficient/streamlined

    Pros

Incredible atmosphere. Mologiq acquisition the best move the company has made. Partha will really move the needle for NinthDecimal. Brings a ton of experience and a joy to work with.

    Cons

Long hours, but I enjoy it! Perks could be better like free lunches. Only day we get fed is Friday.

    Advice to Management

    Need more perks!

    Pros

Helpful colleagues, LOTS of opportunities to learn and grow within the industry. Company is still relatively small, so it's pretty efficient to obtain information/sources of truth -- won't waste time navigating the org just to get an answer to a question compared to larger companies -- this creates accelerated growth/learning for employees.

    Cons

Extremely focused on the bottom line, which creates a "wait your turn" promotion culture with little opportunity for advancement (even if you're doing the job of someone at a higher experience level). Really basic "perks" and poor PTO policy where the company benefits most by not having to pay out employees. As a result, younger/developing employees seem to have one foot out the door due to a lack of trajectory within the org.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees as longer-term assets and invest in them -- interfacing more with engineering and product, set aside an educational budget, design better learning opportunities for employees to teach one another, setup time with industry leaders to teach the team.

    Pros

The people, the executive staff is there for its employees.

    Cons

the motto do more with less gets a little stressful sometimes, but, with it also you get to work with many different areas of the company, where if you were at a bigger place you would be limited to what you are able to learn.

    Advice to Management

    keep it up

    Pros

Leader in marketplace driven by visionary executive leadership with a strong understanding of where the market is heading short term and long term aligning the company's offerings for success; views mistakes as opportunities to be a better partner; unlimited PTO w/flexibility to manage work/life balance; supportive environment offering opportunities for young professionals as well as clear career growth paths.

    Cons

Not necessarily a con but you must be motivated by an industry that changes day to day and week to week. You must be nimble, self-driven and not be afraid to voice your opinion.

    Advice to Management

Continue the open door policy and focus on growing profitability

I have been working at NinthDecimal full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great vision and product offerings.

    Cons

Many weak links who didn't get fired. Top heavy with a lot of junior workers getting paid too much and partying too much. Good work was overlooked. Leaders played favorites based on the department head not individuals value. Lack of culture. Unlimited PTO is not a benefit. Unrealistic expectations.

    Advice to Management

Observe and really listen to employees issues. Don't take everyone at their word. 9D could be a great company but needs strong leadership and fair treatment of employees.

    Pros

NinthDecimal is a great company to work for. The engineering team is solid, incredible talent and innovation - always pushing the edge of technology. The spirit within a company is healthy - no corporate politics, no ego collisions, everyone is helpful and working toward the same goal.

    Cons

The company has gotten used to doing more with less (this is NOT a slave shop, I am talking about perks like lunches, snacks, etc. As thing are looking bright and revenue keeps rising, lets spend some money on the perks :)

    Advice to Management

Keep driving the company and the culture, you are doing great!
