I have been working at Nissan full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nissan provides their employees with a set schedule. There is room to transition from one department to another.

    Cons

This place functions highly of seniority. More than likely any individual entering production will start either on the afternoon or graveyard shift. Will move you based on their needs and can easily change your schedule based on their needs. There are unfortunately politics.

    Advice to Management

Advance people based on their input and work ethic. I have seen several people who should not have moved up.

    Pros

The pay is alright if you're a senior employee

    Cons

It's not fair that only senior employees can go to preferred shifts of their choice.

I have been working at Nissan (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good base pay for an entry level position. Helpful staff if you find the niche

    Cons

No formal training. Unreasonably High expectations for the amount of training and money

    Advice to Management

Train your employees. Give your employees a good work/life ratio. They will work harder for you. Stressful environments like at Nissan don't breed good ideas. Lower stress=better quality
