I worked at Noble Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The working environment and experience. Working offshore you spend more time with your coworkers than with family in many instances. Noble embodied the familial concept and embraced each employee as such. It will always be a premiere offshore company to work for.

    Cons

I had no negative experiences while employees with Noble.

    Advice to Management

Continue to maintain and improve upon the the safety first practices that allowed everyone to get home the way we left it.

    Pros

wages are 4x more for similar work in other industries

    Cons

Pay is the same from rig to rig, but older rigs = more work and downtime. luck of the draw.

Layoffs are not experience or merit based

I have been working at Noble Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Schedule, if you like working from home for three weeks periods. Training is good and they pay for your food while out on the rig.

    Cons

Do not take care of their employees as well as they should. Pay is below industry standards. Travel pay is horrible.

    Pros

I worked in the Noble Sugar Land Office for nearly 8 years on three different teams. I had a wonderful experience and was fortunate to work for great managers. The company offers excellent training courses. They have great benefits, which my family of 5 utilized often. The executive team is personable and approachable. They are concerned with people while still building profitability for stockholders. The company has high expectations of their staff which I believe are reasonable and fair.

    Cons

Could improve by allowing a more flexibility work schedule; many things were managers discretion so policy was not always enforced across the board

    Advice to Management

Please consider mandating the amazing training classes be taken by all Directors and VPs, not just supervisors and managers (not sure a requirement is currently in place). Please consider allowing work from home or

    Pros

Great coworkers, everyone is willing to help you. I learned a lot from my time at the company. Very knowledgeable people. And quick to react to changes in the market.

    Cons

It seemed like I had a lack of training. When I first started I had no formal instruction. It wasn't till many months later until my group went to an actual class. Otherwise I requested training and I was turned down. Likely due to cost and the current market state

    Advice to Management

    Not much I can say.
