I have been working at Noble Energy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay/benefits. Friendly environment. Passionate individuals. Can move around in the company. Great people. Safe practices. Interesting business to get involved in. All the people here seem to really care about each other and their jobs.

    Cons

Traditional when it comes to stuff like working at home or setting your own hours. I honestly can't think of any other cons. My experience at this company this far has been amazing.

I have been working at Noble Energy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Culture and the opportunity to learn. I never feel as if I cannot go on vacation and when I do, I know my manager will be there to support me. The communication I have with my manager is constant and so our lines of communication are always open. This is MOST important to me particularly because my manager does not sit here.

It has also never been an issue to seek out training not offered by the company. This is important in order for me to expand my career and I couldn't be happier!

Finally, "Energizing the World, Bettering People's Lives" is Noble's motto and they stand behind it!

    Cons

Technology is some what of a challenge at times.

    Advice to Management

Keep on communicating at all levels and Houston managers who do not visit often enough, visit more. Not an issue with my manager though!

I have been working at Noble Energy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay/benefits. Good office environment - nice/likable coworkers - minimal politics. Growing company with a lot going on and company will find a way to utilize your talent. Many intelligent and dedicated employees operating under solid executive leadership. Would recommend without hesitation.

    Cons

More competent employees end up working hard while less competent can often get a pass. Performance review system is subpar to non-existent. Result - fair amount of dead wood among rank and file employees. Something of a good old boy's club at upper levels of management that facilitates advancement (not necessarily gender specific) - but less prevalent than I've seen at other places.

    Pros

Great company, dynamic environment, fast moving development, many opportunities

    Cons

Fast development sometimes also means people not capable of performing job get promoted, accomplishing things fast doesn't always mean doing them right, lots of "who you know" politics

    Advice to Management

Management is doing a fantastic job in this dynamic environment.

I have been working at Noble Energy full-time

    Pros

Noble Energy is a great company to work for with execellent pay, great benefits, good work/ life balance and room to move. Closing Ardmore could not have been an easy decision to make, it was however a smart business move...this is business not personal. Not "everyone" has to choose between family and job, the Ardmore office held a couple hundred folks. Noble has plenty of well-established employees that have worked 15-20+ years, not everyone is green.

    Cons

With fast growth comes a learning curve and subsequent stretch marks. The Oil & Gas industry can be volatile, so it's necessary to roll with the punches. No significant cons to speak of.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes the hard decisions have to be made, make 'em and move on!
As every company should do - weed out the bad apples...we all know the saying!

    Pros

Josh Shine and Jesse Hernandez are 2 of the best Men I have worked for in my 27 year oil and gas career in Wheeling West Virginia. The 2 Gentlemen posses great leadership skills and I would be delighted to work for them again.

    Cons

Some of the locations are very remote.

    Advice to Management

Keep Gentlemen like Josh and Jesse employed and you will be successful on their projects.
