I worked at Noble Energy (Less than a year)

    Pros

Salaries in line with industry. Nice building and surroundings.

    Cons

Upper management will lie to your face. Mid-management plays the ole boys club game - golf, fantasy football, dinners with upper management - but won't show up for things like company sponsored charitable events, or take part in the team building events needed to familiarize staff with other departments (unless it is simply to get the alcohol).

    Advice to Management

    Clean your own house!

    Cons

Care nothing for properties or employees. Care nothing for stockholders. Layoffs are tool to increase profits. Only those who suck up get promotions and keep jobs. Very little professionalism in management. Bad HR people. Worst supervisors and managers of any company around.

    Advice to Management

Resign and take the Bistd with you. You are seemingly incapable of make big any profit except for yourself.

    Pros

My experience here has been ok. I've been here for nearly 5 years and I'm in no rush to leave. The only thing that would probably pull me away would be better pay and more flexibility hours wise. That being said, I also think im fortunate enough to work with a good group of people.

As far as pros, the corporate office offers a nice gym with classes, wellness activities, etc., there's a decent cafeteria, and the building is nice. Pay seems fair but raises have been lacking, likely because of the current industry environment.

    Cons

Pay could be better. Id like to see more flexibility with regard to hours in the office. Technology makes being connected very easy without being anchored to a desk. There are some processes here that need attention. Too many workarounds and bandaids.

    Advice to Management

Embrace technology and the changing workforce. Implement processes that work for everyone and not just certain people. Pay should equal work and skill set.
