    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Noble Hospital full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Close knit group of employees where the majority understand the meaning of caring for their neighbors from their community

    Cons

Salaries are not as high as other local larger healthcare organizations

    Advice to Management

Heep doing what you are doing. Great strides are being made to hear and respond to the "voice" of the employee.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Noble Hospital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I made a couple of friends there that I remain in touch with.

    Cons

Poor management, bullying from administration and co-workers and even Drs. Awful atmosphere when you might have your own opinion. Poor structure.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to who’s telling the truth and who’s making up stories to elevate their own personal self worth. Human resource Dept needs to do the same. MNA doesn’t work for its nurses but certainly takes the dues every week. SAD !!!

  4. "The Great team work on the front lines made up for the HORRENDOUS upper management. Major Disconnect from Admin"

    Pros

The benefits:"Meh".... The promotions: not much room for advancement.... The pay: below average. The hospital values are worthy morals. Patient safety and satisfaction were a top priority. Great camaraderie between the hard working nurses and aides. Small community hospital made it feel like a family and made great personal connections with other employees. Great education department who are really passionate and there to help.

    Cons

The Great disconnect btwn administration and front-line aides & nurses is terrible. Some aides/tech/nurses deserved to fired on the spot- but the laid backed attitude from management did nothing about it. The union protected dead weight and didn't protect or represent the nurses as they should have. Union dues are virtually paid for nothing.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your workers when they say they need better staff. Hire new staff to change the work culture for the better. Seriously reflect on Baystate's work culture and consider applying some of their standards
