I worked at Noble House Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Will pay for the right talent and allow the right talent to work autonomously for the most part under the umbrella of culture/vision as long as you are successful.

    Cons

Property to property I'd imagine there to be quite different challenges. Overall negative energy throughout property at all management levels and departments. Union associates were overall not bad, however, extremely difficult to keep bad apples from influencing the culture of your great employees. Corporate office is wishy-washy/waffles on ideas/feel week to week. The corporate values and vision is great, just wasn't present on our property.

    Advice to Management

Find a unique vision rather than finding inspiration in everything else you see and then copying. By the time you make the decision to copy, the trend has played itself out.

I have been working at Noble House Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

nice property portfolio, the property I worked at was very flexible when it came to scheduling as long as business needs were met

    Cons

lackluster executives and managers and Horrible benefits, questionable ethics in respect to the hiring and firing of employees.

I worked at Noble House Hotels & Resorts full-time

    Pros

Opportunities to move up within the company. Most of the staff are good people.

    Cons

Not enough support. The company is all about the look and not logistics. Pay their lower management very poorly. If they took care of their employees, we would take care of them. Huge amount of turnover given the lack of support and poor pay. Will likely be overworked and taken advantage of.

    Advice to Management

More accountability, higher pay to management, think about the logistics, not just the appearance. Be more aware of all the things that occur at each property.

    Pros

Benefits, they support promoting from within

    Cons

Travel benefits could be better. Rooms have too many blackout dates and if there's high hotel occupancy, employee rates in hotel rooms don't apply.

    Advice to Management

Great job on training. However, do not motivate through fear. Rather, inspire your team to do better.

I worked at Noble House Hotels & Resorts (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Amazing company with some truly fantastic properties. Most of the management are among the most talented you'll see in the industry.

    Cons

There are exceptions. Not all rise to a particular standard, and sometimes do and say shockingly offensive things. Derogatory nicknames, blocking promotions based on perceived friend status or assumptions about political leanings. Even when there has been no political talk or evidence to support assumptions.
