    Pros

    Team was very supportive of fresh graduates. The 3 month training process for campus hires was a great way to get an overview of finance and technical skills.

    Cons

    IT being a non revenue generating group is sometimes not treated with same respect.

    Cons

    Work life balance may sometimes not be great . HR needs to create training plans for overall and managerial development. This is currently left to divisions

    -> good work life banace
    -> very good peers
    -> good technology
    -> medical benefits is awesome
    -> optional leave concept is awesome
    -> benefits are good - free transport, almost free food

    -> year on year appraisals is limited

    Very good work life balance. Good people. Very supportive.

    Not much apportunity to grow. Very Buisness specific. Less technologies to work on,

    Can add more training on tech side, it will be better for freshers to grasp as qiuickly as possible.

    the team I worked with was extremely warm and welcoming not only at the start of employment but throughout my tenure. the HR is easily approachable and the employment process was pretty straightforward and smooth.

    Cons

    Don't think so there are any cons that I have observed and faced.

    The amount of controls in place but I guess that is necessary from regulatory standpoint

    Pros

    Management takes a long term view. They are interested in developing people. Firm values tenure and rewards merit.

    Cons

    Size of the investment banking pie is not the same as it used to be. It is very difficult for Nomura to fight and get a larger market share.

    Advice to Management

    Great effort, I had an excellent experience. Left for my MBA, would not hesitate to return.
