      Pros

The people I worked with directly and on a daily basis were some of the most talented and driven people I've met in my career.

      Cons

      - Sexist work environment - I was told by a member of upper management during a business call that he missed "bickering with a woman" since he recently broke up with his girlfriend. This is just one example. - They hired really amazing talent only to have them execute what upper management wanted. This led to awesome talent becoming frustrated daily. - Told that I would be able to make a real change at a fast-growth company, but was called "too direct and unapproachable" most times I voiced an opinion. - Upper management would "listen" to ideas and feedback, but only drove their own agenda. - Upper management would get into arguments/heated conversations in meetings and in the office, often in front of many people. - The company culture is non-existent and values/mission/vision were just for show. - The company does not care about the individual employee, only about making/saving money.

      Giant Waste of Potential

      Pros

VERTS hired a lot of talented people.

      Cons

Look at the rest of the reviews from full-time corporate employees, they're not lying. Leadership spent money to hire great people across all departments, only to belittle them and ignore their ideas and input. Negative and often sexist work environment where many talented and experienced team members were unappreciated or bypassed in favor of the owners friends (who they have a habit of putting on the payroll). Most outside hires ended up getting laid off a year later thanks to financial mismanagement and irresponsible use of investor funding.

if you like to be micromanaged, underpaid and overworked you'll love working her

      Pros

Hardworking employees, great concept, median compensation package

      Cons

Inexperienced owners who hire great people but don't entrust them to do their jobs without constant micromanaging. The owners are unable to foster a positive work environment or live their mission of developing great people. Their employees are the least of their concerns and regularly make decisions against the betterment of staff, from restaurants to corporate level. They make regular pay cuts and increase work hours, all the while spending money on bigger offices and fancy cars. If this is a family, it's the kind you want to get far away from.
