I have been working at Nordea Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I've been in banking for over 20 years and I have never worked for a company who was so dedicated to its clients and employees. Best environment I have ever been in by far. Always strides to do what is right, not necessarily what is easy.

    Cons

Unless you are willing to move around to different areas, not much in the way for upward mobility. A few people have managed it, but a struggle for most.

I have been working at Nordea Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Great work life balance
    - Easy to take a new position within the company

    Cons

    - There is a will against change built into the walls. Way to many employees that are making money for encumbering others to do their job.

    Advice to Management

Start thinking about IT as the core of your business and not something peripheral that can be sorted out by outsourcing it all. Demand responsibility for big projects that fail.

I have been working at Nordea Bank part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice company with a lot of career opportunities included when working at a bank. As a worker in Sweden the work / life benefits are always good.

    Cons

The culture is not always the best at Nordea, however I come from an IT background where the culture is a bit different and looks at the company culture differently.

    Advice to Management

Management is doing fine, however maybe look more into the technical side of business as the banking industry in Sweden is behind in many areas.
