      Pros

Discounts on purchases and the soup at the cafe

      Cons

Our manager had swine flu. They wouldn’t tell us what was going on, just wiped our station down. She went into a coma from it. Our manager was vindictive and would make you work double-backs if she didn’t like you. You were expected to confront shoplifters who were some scary people. Co-workers would try to steal commissions. If you weren’t “selling” enough, they would take you into a little room and threaten you. Customers were very entitled and would get angry if you didn’t ditch the person you were waiting on to wait on them. Customers would argue with each other at the counter. They would leave the store open and make everyone in the building stay if one family with screaming kids decided to shop for shoes from 5 minutes before closing until the wee hours. Really, these customers were just bad parents whose tiny tots should have been in bed hours before but we were all made to suffer and stay until all hours. Due to the extremely long hours, I didn’t see friends for months and my family began to forget what I looked like. Oh and they take your pay away if someone returns something!

      Cons

      - Repetitive, almost mind-numbing but you must keep a smile on your face - Very long hours and you will always be on your feet - If you happen to not fit in, it's very obvious
