They are using various new and changing technologies to learn and work with. It's a none stressful working environment. Very nice location in Midtown

Set up an on-boarding training plan for a new employee, including both technical and business related issues

I have been working at Norfolk Southern full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy work. Good pay. A lot of down time. Good training program in place.

    Cons

No overtime. Bad shifts. Benefits are not great. A lot of management are younger people straight from college with zero work or real world experience and do not know anything about the railroad. They are just here to pad their resumes and do not care about the workers.

    Advice to Management

Start over and do not be so top heavy management wise. Only people with railroad or even work experience for that matter should be considered for management.
