    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Once once filled with bright energizing people and led by strong leaders. Today those are both absent however those legacy Norlight people who remain are indeed talented individuals.

    Cons

No real vision beyond the unattainable "We'll be a $1b company someday!" Terribly low pay. Minimalist as far as providing employees technology and others productivity enhancing resources.

    Advice to Management

    Sell and move on.

"Good company that lost customer focus and it's spirit after being acquired by Q-Services in January 2007"

    Pros

Great telecommunications and managed services product set to sell. Managed services are very good and customizable to meet customer requirements.

    Cons

Norlight is in decline following its acquisition by Q-Services in January of 2007. Massive employee defections took place at the former headquarters location in Brookfield, WI. Many talented and mission critical people left either of the own accord or through consolidation. Employee morale took a precipitous drop as more and more good people left the company sending well wishes to all who remained via email. These usually arrived in inboxes on Fridays. Just getting normal things done became difficult as the people who knew how to do things left and nobody could tell you who does what anymore. Sales offices became disenfranchised and high performing sales professionals took there skills elsewhere once they no longer believed the company or the message being delivered to customers and prospects.

    Advice to Management

Embrace the customer service model as Norlight originally envisioned. Push direct customer facing sales personnel close to the customer and don't try to service customers from afar.
