I worked at North East Independent School District full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Health Insurance. Only work 36 hours / week. No nights or weekends. Good job for someone that doesn't like to sit.

    Cons

I was at multiple schools, and every school cafeteria is understaffed. One person does the job of three people. Most managers are either apathetic, or bi-polar. One's positive outlook on life is soon dashed due to a toxic environment, and you cannot trust anyone around you. If you do wish to become a manager it is at the risk of losing your integrity and any meaning to your life.

    Advice to Management

Whatever I would tell them does not matter because they do not listen, they do not respond, they only continue with their apathy, negativity, and lies.

I have been working at North East Independent School District part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Part- time, great support from supervisor,

    Cons

No room for growth or advancement, dealing with rude parents/school staff, being understaffed all the time, too many students in program for ratio, ridiculous trainings and constant threats of being fired if you don't do your training hours. Part time, so many have other jobs in the mornings to survive financially, NO PAY /NO WORK during holidays like Christmas break, Thanksgiving, Spring Break or All Summer
