    Pros

    They provide all education needed for recertification and handle the documentation with the NREMT.
    24 hr shifts means more full days off

    Cons

    24 hour shifts (12 primary, 12 on call) can cause scheduling issues

    good PTO, ability to work independently, management is good

    Cons

    had an immediate supervisor i didn't hear from for weeks, and sometimes the training is lacking, but not bad. i have heard the productivity expectations are too high here as well, but you get used to it.

    better training perhaps, just invest in people

    I worked at North Memorial Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Able to use my great customer service skills to help individuals and employees find a great fit for their career. Excellent team playing skills. Great partnerships.

    Cons

    Operated very lean. Wore many hats and back-up to our front desk. Took away from my daily tasks at hand.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more staff to fulfill the recruitment cycle. Add staff to our team to help with the fingerprinting process and meeting the organizational standards,

    - Wellness reimbursement decrease and other benefit changes
    - Money spent on new logo/marketing but no return on investment
    - Leadership not seeing the value in community partnerships
    - "Customer service" training not well executed; did not translate to work; very theory-based

    Focus on the employee's well-being and it will trickle to the "customer."
