RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at North Range Behavioral Health full-time
Pros
1. Company that truly cares about clients. 2. Variety in job duties (everyday is different). 3. Sense of genuinely helping others in their recovery.
Cons
1. Challenging cases and large caseloads can lead to burn out. 2. Pay scale is below average within the state, and the health care coverage is similar to the old major medical plans. 3. Management does not seem to know how to assist with burn-out. 4. Very few opportunities for advancement and company tends to go outside of the agency for top administrative and management positions.

Pros
Middle management was kind and very open to feedback. They worked hard to make people feel appreciated. Many coworkers were nice and collaborative. The experience was not as bad as you might expect for a community mental health job. Some folks consider the social connectivity among colleagues to be one of the biggest pros. If you fit in, it will certainly be a pro. However, there are certainly cons to the social dynamics as not everyone will fit in.
Cons
PTO is advertised in a misleading way. Communication between departments isn't great. Some teams seem to have a lack of diversity in age range, likely because there are mostly entry level clinicians due to low pay and lack of advancement opportunities. There are some social cliques that can make it hard to fit in. Whispering, saving seats in meetings, inside jokes, and overall social dynamics can make those not in the inner circle feel left out. Shared office spaces make it hard to avoid this type of issue. These social dynamics can also make group supervision feel uncomfortable. Feeling like the third wheel should not be a daily issue, especially when you are in the midst of work in your own office space, trying to mind your own business while maintaining social boundaries.

Pros
Great culture and management cares about clients and the mission a lot. Pay isn’t great but also not terrible. Lots of employee appreciation.
Cons
They advertise their PTO as being better than it is. Individual benefits are great. Family benefits are terrible. Shop the market instead.
