    Pros

It is a very diverse district with a great sense of community. There is good community involvement and collaboration with other schools in the district.

I have been working at North Rockland Central School District full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Several of the schools in this district are friendly, engaging places to work. Administrators, teachers, and support staff in these schools do their best to live up to very high standards.

    Cons

Some schools in the district are plagued by negativity and burnout among the staff, often because of dissatisfaction with the administrators. However, administrators' hands are tied just as much as teachers' due to state requirements.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at North Rockland Central School District full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

If you have children in the district it is an ideal opportunity for employment. There are very few days that child care would be needed.

    Cons

Certain Administrators do not view their support staff as relevant and that can be wuite difficult if you are working with particularly difficult students.
