I worked at North Seattle Community College full-time

    Pros

The campus does a great job of transfering students to four year universities.

    Cons

As with all college campuses, it's a challenge balancing the requests of faculty, staff, students and administrative needs.

    Advice to Management

None, its a hard job any way you look at it.

I worked at North Seattle Community College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Get both sides of the story instead of acting based on what one person said in a complaint.

I worked at North Seattle Community College part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working in the Student Success Center while attending North Seattle College was a great way to access and become familiar with resources available for students on campus. Due to the nature of work study positions, it was amazing to have the flexibility needed by my employer when finals week came around each quarter.

    Cons

Because most of the front desk staff were also work study students, there was a high volume of turn over which meant that training new staff occurred frequently. With that, seasoned employees are often left to pick up the "slack".

    Advice to Management

The management was very accommodating to student schedules. I don't have any advice to give to management in this particular role.
