    Pros

professional company with high caliber professional people. CEO is very friendly and approachable. Make efforts to take care of staff.

    Cons

there was a very difficult key staff member there, (no longer employed there) who was rude, hostile and made simple tasks a real chore.

    Advice to Management

Be careful of who you promote to managerial positions, technical skills do not always mean managerial skills. Keep an eye on support staff morale and keep the place "fun"

I worked at NorthStar Systems International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employees get paid on time twice a month.
Travel accommodations are easily made by others.
Their online training is easy due to the fact it's designed for elementary school students that don't know any better.

    Cons

Typical Texas based company where all the good ol boys grew up together, so unless your one of them your not gonna move up in the company.
Subcontractors are not paid and can't do anything about it due to the company's legal team will keep you in court till your bankrupt.
    Training is subpar at best.
Benefits were not given when stated in new hire contract.
Management is unqualified for this work, hence all the lawsuits filed against them.
Admins are managements girlfriends hired out of bars.
You have to use your own money to fund jobs.
President of the company has been indicted for numerous shady deals involving other companies.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to what's really going on in your company instead of trying to screw over everyone.
Get qualified staff and upper management, just because you have a piece of paper saying you've been trained doesn't necessarily mean the person knows what their doing.
