I worked at Northeast Tradesmen full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Self management, Friday cookouts, beer, hours. Good place for college graduates to get a taste of what to expect from slick employers.

    Cons

You supply everything else. Car, gas, computer, phone, leads, and appointments. Don't expect to make a decent living unless you get hooked up with good territory and accounts.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with new hires regarding what they will actually make.

I worked at Northeast Tradesmen (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    There are absolutely no pros!

    Cons

    Everything. This company is terrible!

    Advice to Management

Fold up your damn businesd before you get sued from a customer. Your employees are not holding the appropriate licenses!!

    Pros

    Nothing really comes to mind

    Cons

Job required an enormous amount of travel on very short notice. Benefits are minimal at best, and there is no loyalty to any carpenters in the field. Best described as a snake pit.

    Advice to Management

Roll up the tents. You are soiling the construction industry.
