    Pros

It's a great small community where you can really get to know your students because of the small class sizes.

    Cons

NAU can be difficult when it comes to closing the school when there are dangerous levels of snow. They need to show more concern for safety.

I worked at Northern Arizona University as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great training and support as a graduate teaching assistant. Benefits include a discount on your tuition or full tuition paid. The workload was never overwhelming. Weekly meeting with other GTAs to keep you on track.

    Cons

The only cons would be the Two year or two and a half year contract. The last semester or two when finishing your masters you might have to take out loans if they do not have a position available.
