    Pros

-Great job security -Smart people -drive for new tech -career opportunities -ok benefits. But not the best -ok pay

    Cons

-Unorganized with scheduling. Functioning teams are under staffed at busy times. This is normal in all companies, but we are pressured to not work overtime. This creates a lot of friction. Dates are missed due to poor planning. *PMO does not work with functioning managers when building schedules. -processes from corporate do not align with every site. Customizing processes is very painful. And slow. -Education assistance. Company no longer pays for MBAs. Personally this is a big disappointment for me. As i want more education, but the company doesn’t want to support me. -bonuses are a joke. Instead of OKRs and aligning goals with leadership.. individual are measured against their peers. This causes an environment where everyone is out for themselves. No support. Leaderships goals are late every year, so managers and individuals do not know what’s important. -“operational efficiency”! That’s great. How about real details? Employees are glossed over at leadership speeches. Leadership is disconnected. And the best engineers are leaving because of it. -lazy engineers are sticking around. This is only making things worse.

    Pros

Challenging and rewarding, if career driven

    Cons

Biased management. A new manager being able to change the direction of a high performing long term employees career due to personality conflicts is ludicrous. Leadership: Open your eyes to your direct report managers and their power trips. The good ole "it's not what you know but who you know"...and "just because they said it, doesn't make it true".

    Amazing mission, poor corporate leadership

    Pros

You are part of an amazing company that plays a major role in keeping the country and the world safe. Incredible engineering.

    Cons

Leadership within Corporate and Enterprise Services is incestuous and lacks vision. Lots of long time directors and Vice Presidents trying to safeguard their empires. Tough for real upward career movement once you get to manager. Shame as COrp takes away from the incredible things going on in the sectors.
