    Pros

Company has flexible hours, people are relatively nice

    Cons

Too much favoritism with management, most of the demographic is old white males who have been in the company for 30+ year, not a place for millennial, no diversity, salaries are not competitive

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Great work schedule. I love the 9/80 and flexible schedule. I also like that meetings are mostly done over the phone and not in person.

    Cons

I've had a negative experience with leads being sexists, ageists, and over all condescending and egotistical.

I have been working at Northrop Grumman full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The work is very laid back and not too fast paced. Many of the clients are patient and are very approachable at DHS.

    Cons

Too laid back sometimes, many of the management and the fellow coworkers such as software developers are extremely hands off and any learning that is done is really done by yourself. This makes the learning curve unnecessarily steep and a bit slow and that in turn can lead to a lot of trial and error when working.

    Advice to Management

Stop being lazy and come up with an efficient on-job-training plan to get workers up to speed and producing results.

    Pros

Opportunities to engage in highly technical engineering work.

    Cons

There are not many highly experience/talented people to learn from. Self-learning is key.

    Advice to Management

Start valuing employees. Don't compete with other contractors for contracts, compete for good employees and the rest will follow.
