    Pros

    Personable and friendly from the top on down. Treat employees with respect. Offer competitive pay and benefits. Leadership is very knowledgeable about the industry. Known and respected within the industry.

    Cons

    Obviously, the current pandemic has had a destabilizing effect on the company resulting in layoffs, furloughs, reduced hours, and pay cuts. Prior to the current situation... Diversification into additional areas left some current departments unfavored and somewhat neglected. Pay increases (2%-4%) at review time are on the lower side--if at all. Benefit packages have continued to decline in the past three years (fewer plan options, higher medical deductables, higher employee premium contributions).

    Very good culture, intelligent and passionate colleagues, interesting and valuable work products, proficient mentoring, transparent communication.

    Challenging to disconnect outside of the standard workweek; inability to advance in some departments due to longevity.

    Pros

    Benefits are pretty good. Summer Fridays are nice. Work/life balance is pretty good, as managers are generally pretty understanding about things that come up. The company has a nice family atmosphere, even between offices. They value the opinions and experiences of their younger employees. They give good feedback and recognition for a job well done.

    Cons

    Money money money money money money money money money money. These people are cheap if you don't have a senior or managerial position. They don't give raises and in the years I worked there, never put up the money to hire more employees. Don't hold your breath for 401K match.
