I worked at Northwell Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, Yearly raises most of the time, Room for advancement.

    Cons

If managers didn't like you, they had it out for you. Good workers got all the work dumped on them, and workers that slacked around and didn't do their jobs got easy jobs and little supervision.

    Advice to Management

Treat service workers with more respect.

I have been working at Northwell Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, large network, many job opportunities, pay for college......etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

    Cons

Nurse to patient ratios are high., management is not supportive to nurses. Administration doesn't care about the welfare of their staff. Hospital is run like a business only

    Advice to Management

Be more involved with the night shifts, it's a 24 hour job/ shift... Be more available to your staff, more support needed for nurses
