I have been working at Northwestern Medicine full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Regular paycheck . large hospital community. Healthcare onsite

    Cons

If you are not in the union there is no sick time only PTO. They use outdated modules to decide your salary that have nothing to do with what you should really be paid. They allow people with their own agendas and bias to manage others. They do not promote from the inside. They bring lower skilled people in and expect you to train them so that they can give them the job you deserve. No loyalty to older or long time employees. Vacation time cut in half. Sick time eliminated and pension gone.

    Advice to Management

PTO IS A JOKE. What happens when YOU get sick?!
