      Pros

Northwestern Mutual provides a lot of freedom, it is a great internship while you are going to school because there are no set hours. Northwestern Mutual also has a great training system that is amazing. I've always had help when I needed it.

      Cons

Northwestern Mutual is an insurance company. Personally, I wanted to focus more on helping people with investments, so it just wasn't my cup of tea. This is a personal preference, but just know that you will selling insurance will be the bulk of your compensation for the first 10-12 years.
