I worked at Norwegian Cruise Line full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people all around. An entry level job is the equivalent to working for $38k per year given they cover lodging and food. Commute to work is about 3 minutes.

    Cons

Exhaustion can take it's toll over time and occasional worker shortages can increase the wear & tear on those who stick it out contract after contract.

I worked at Norwegian Cruise Line full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

An excellent job to develop your skillets, the pay is ok but you can save it all if your smart, and exciting work environment continually challenging you. The work place if fun and products (shore excursions) you promote, are exciting.

    Cons

The contracts are between 4-6 months depending on your level in the department. Almost zero work life balance depending on your itinerary. As a manager it can be very stressful but if your a young professional its a good opportunity to learn.

    Advice to Management

    Adjust commission policy.
