      You won’t get promoted here

      Pros

Cruise discount, good way to build up experience

      Cons

Long hours and no work life balance (they might even tell you at the interview... this is no secret) Some people have been there for 15+ years and are just riding the wave; living off the accomplishments of junior people who will never get promoted Most managers have gone through 0 managerial training and are therefore, terrible bosses Promotions only go to those that are friends with the higher ups aka you likely won’t get promoted here Lots of company shake-ups, if you go work here be sure you’ll have a minimum of 3 bosses in 2 years The CEO of NCLH made a 50% raise during the pandemic while regular employees took a 20% cut for a year They will lowball your offer but can pay you 15-20% more. If you decide to work here for the sake of gaining experience, add that to your asking salary

      Pros

      Traveling the world. Hands down

      Cons

Expensive WiFi even if you’re living on there for months. Office staff seems lost most of the time. My card was charged so many times without my knowledge.

      Pros

You get paid bi-weekly. You can call out twice and arrive late/early up to three times per quarter.

      Cons

This job started off okay. Once the pandemic hit it seems like management has nothing to do but micromanage. Our QA guidelines became a nitpicking show while also requiring much more to be done on a call. The benefits are expensive to get basic care and you still have to pay a decent copay. In peak times overtime will be mandatory. Management DOES pick favorites and good luck on your future shift bid if you decide to work here. At the root of it, it’s extremely apparent that NCL does not care about their employees nor their guests for that matter. Look at how they did guests with their FCC refunds for months on end. They’re hiring again because so many people got sick of it and quit. Currently looking for my way out.

      Pros

Great atmosphere in working virtually with co-workers.

      Cons

Constant swapping you to different supervisor teams, I feel like they really could have done a better job at keeping you on the same team regardless of schedules. The company did not make any further communication to its work-at-home employees after being furloughed that they would be terminated. The only thing I ask Norwegian to look at in the future is you did a great job of letting us know about the furlough. But after the furlough, nothing was sent about officially being terminated in September 2020. I know COVID has been hard but a heads up would have been nice. Especially since I have a disabled husband and family to take care of.

      Pros

Great employee development programs, fun office environment, travel benefits, and ability to be innovative or make recommendations to improve processes.

      Cons

Long work hours, inflexibility with scheduling, work life balance is frowned upon and when people ask for time off to spend with family it's viewed as an inconvenience.

      Pros

Work at home options in several states

      Cons

Lack of commuication to staff, shifts change every 3 months based off of a bid so you never know what you are going to be doing. Mandatory overtime even when it isn't busy. Give option for 1hr or 30min lunch break and then take it away in the middle of the working quarter without at least a weeks notice. Not a company that is good for a parent without a lot of childcare support. Mangers never have answers for questions they always just say they don't know either and if they wrong you the mangers automatic response is "things are always changing here at NCL". The company wants 100% commitment and flexibility from staff but gives zero support and flexibility back. They claim to have flex time but somehow when anyone needs it it almost NEVER is time to flex even on days they are sending home 30% phone staff as Leave Without Pay because the phones are so slow. No ones job is safe I have seen them lay off 3 different rounds of managers and senior mangers and 2 of those were before COVID.
